The Independent
Finding a new place for the map by Samuel Muston in last Thursday’s Independent made interesting reading for map enthusiasts – whether you love them for their looks or are one of the few of us who still use them to get from A to B! It was great to see our Africa Type Map alongside some other beautiful map artworks.

Men’s running
David is all for ‘hiding his light under a bushel’ but I thought you might like to see this. He won the Brighton half marathon in 2010 and 2011 and was approached by Men’s Running Magazine (bit of a dodgy sub heading ‘for runners with balls’ mmm…) to talk about running, winning and his secret. The answer of course, sheer hard slog. Well done Dave!

Glamour Awards
We experienced a taste of celebrity when we attended this years Glamour Women of the Year Awards in Berkeley Square last month. Killer heals and copious amounts of lip gloss were on display among the glitzy folk. We donated a London Type Map to the winner of each category who included Stevie Nicks, Ellie Goulding, Dawn French, Fearne Cotton, Miranda Hart and Jane Goldman.
