We’re out right now

Hello, we’re taking our summer break this week. A bit late I know but we’re hoping Portugal will be sunny for us and if it isn’t we’ll hang out eating seafood and dreaming up new ideas for the 2010 collection. We’ll be back in the studio on Tuesday 13th October, so any orders will be dispatched promptly on our return.

In the meantime, thanks to Grand Designs for giving us a shout in their November Issue, my Mum rang me on her way back from WH Smiths yesterday, cheers for your scanning skills Mum.

Country Living September 09

A wee snippet from this month’s issue where our ‘Tress around Britain‘ print is featured.

Period Living October 2009

Eek, a photograph, I must grow up a bit and enjoy having my picture taken, I’m not alone there though. A while ago I was asked to do an interview for Period Living magazine in their ‘Going Green’ feature and today I got to see it hot off the press. Whilst I’m immaturely uncomfortable with seeing my face on the page, I am delighted that we’ve been considered worthy of a mention – thank you Rebecca!

Ideal Home magazine blog

I’ve got to be a bit quicker. Lots of good things happened while we had our heads down working on the new collection and during the launch, but we were too snowed under to get them on the blog. Bethan from Ideal Home Magazine wrote a very upbeat piece on the HomeShoppingSpy blog, thank you…

‘Those clever people at Bold & Noble have just this minute launched a brand new collection of screen prints… I am in love! I had to share them with you straight away. Enjoy!’

Junior Officers’ Reading Club

Topping the summer reading lists in one of our designs. Perhaps this success is more down to the content than the cover, but even so we’re delighted that sales are booming. Junior Officers’ Reading Club is up there, here is the BBC Newsnight review if you’re keen to know more.

BBC Good Homes

We were chuffed to see our Ginkgo print in the June edition of BBC Good Homes.

Web wonder

Thanks for the plug in Easy Living July 09. Apparently ‘for an inexpensive splash of colour you can’t go far wrong with a beautiful handmade screen print from Bold & Noble’…. so what are you waiting for… hehehe…

The Junior Officers’ Reading Club

Hot off the press… The Junior Officers’ Reading Club designed by our very own David Wardle is BBC i-players book of the week.

Swiss BabyMag

Thought you might like to see our handsome Alphabot strutting his stuff in Swiss magazine BabyMag

Atlantic Crossing

This felt very strange – seeing one of our prints framed and on someone’s wall on the other side of the world, on the design sponge blog no less. It shouldn’t have taken me by surprise because we send prints all over the place, half our sales are outside the UK… but when you actually see them nestled into their new homes it still sets your heart aflutter.

Design Sponge is one of the top US design blogs, you could loose a few hours there easily without noticing – it is like a secret garden. They have all sorts of creative titbits, plus a section where readers upload ‘before and after’ pics from their homes. And that is where we come in, Michelle Smith giftware designer and founder of Rock & Shop Market was displaying the results of her labour.

So thanks Ms Smith, there has been a flurry of transatlantic activity ever since. Love your dining chairs too Michelle, not unlike my treasured g-plan ones that came from my super stylish Nana Munn!
