A wee excerpt from the December issue of InStyle magazine – ‘green fingered can mean gorgeous’ (apparently!). Here is our Live off the land print holding his own amongst the other garden goodies.

I loved this piece by Jeanette Winterson for the Guardian about embracing the dark now the nights are drawing in. It is easy to mourn the loss of light nights and warm weather, but there are some bonuses to the cold and dark. At the weekend they produced a brilliant ‘guide to the night’ with all sorts of gems about night swimming, walks, even sneaky guerrilla knitters.

Delighted to have our Type Map featured in Living Etc’s christmas gift guide (even though it feels way too early to be thinking about pressies!).

Hello, we’re taking our summer break this week. A bit late I know but we’re hoping Portugal will be sunny for us and if it isn’t we’ll hang out eating seafood and dreaming up new ideas for the 2010 collection. We’ll be back in the studio on Tuesday 13th October, so any orders will be dispatched promptly on our return.
In the meantime, thanks to Grand Designs for giving us a shout in their November Issue, my Mum rang me on her way back from WH Smiths yesterday, cheers for your scanning skills Mum.

A wee snippet from this month’s issue where our ‘Tress around Britain‘ print is featured.
Eek, a photograph, I must grow up a bit and enjoy having my picture taken, I’m not alone there though. A while ago I was asked to do an interview for Period Living magazine in their ‘Going Green’ feature and today I got to see it hot off the press. Whilst I’m immaturely uncomfortable with seeing my face on the page, I am delighted that we’ve been considered worthy of a mention – thank you Rebecca!

I’ve got to be a bit quicker. Lots of good things happened while we had our heads down working on the new collection and during the launch, but we were too snowed under to get them on the blog. Bethan from Ideal Home Magazine wrote a very upbeat piece on the HomeShoppingSpy blog, thank you…
‘Those clever people at Bold & Noble have just this minute launched a brand new collection of screen prints… I am in love! I had to share them with you straight away. Enjoy!’

Topping the summer reading lists in one of our designs. Perhaps this success is more down to the content than the cover, but even so we’re delighted that sales are booming. Junior Officers’ Reading Club is up there, here is the BBC Newsnight review if you’re keen to know more.

We were chuffed to see our Ginkgo print in the June edition of BBC Good Homes.

Thanks for the plug in Easy Living July 09. Apparently ‘for an inexpensive splash of colour you can’t go far wrong with a beautiful handmade screen print from Bold & Noble’…. so what are you waiting for… hehehe…
