Christmas deliveries

Here is the heads up on getting your pressies before Christmas. Royal Mail suggest Tuesday 20th as the last day for sending UK first class recorded mail in time for the 25th. Any orders received before 10am on the 20th will be dispatched promptly on the same day and providing we don’t get swamped in metres of snow they’ll be there for the big day.

Plan B (if you’re running a bit late or are just a bit jittery about the timings) is to opt for a ‘next day special delivery’ which is an additional £5. If you would like your prints sent using this service please contact us and we can quickly arrange this for you. We can send any orders received before 10am on the 22nd via the next day service.

There is potential for a plan C – if you’ve been super busy and Christmas has passed you by (like us!). Royal Mail offer a ‘Saturday guarantee’ service and we can look into for any last minute shoppers. Again, please call/email us and we’ll happily discuss.

In the meantime, enjoy the festivities.

South & Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Far East (including Japan), Australia and New Zealand please order by 4th December for dispatch on 5th December

Eastern Europe, USA  and Canada please order by 7th December for dispatch on 8th December

Western Europe please order by 11th December for dispatch on 12th December

United Kingdom - first class please order by Monday 19th December for dispatch on Tuesday 20th December

United Kingdom – special delivery (this service will be an additional £5 postage) please order by Wednesday 21st December for dispatch on Thursday 22nd December

The new collection

It is a big day. After three months of late nights, early mornings and inky aprons, the new collection is ready. We’d love to hear from you if you have any comments, maybe ‘sheer slate’ should be called ‘blue slate’, perhaps that big flower should be a bit smaller or maybe you don’t care. Either way, we hope you like the new designs, here goes…

Red exhibition

The chance to exhibit in his native north east was unmissable. As a Jarrow lad, David was delighted when we were asked to take part in ‘Roses are Red’ an exhibition at the ‘Mushroom Works’ in Tyneside dedicated to the theme of love (www.mushroomworks.com). The exhibition runs until 21st March and is open Wednesday – Saturday. If you’re up that way, it is free entry and there are all kinds of artwork on show.

Clever girl

I’ve been wanting to shout about these for ages, long before we even had a website and a blog.

These beautiful brooches were hand made by Jane Smallcombe and each one is unique. I have a collection of about ten that get regular outings and she does other accessories too. I love the colour combinations, feels like being a kid in a sweet shop!

Valentines Day

Don’t worry if you’re a bit late, we’re sending all our prints special delivery this week at no extra cost. If you’d like a print for Saturday 14th please place your order by 2pm on Thursday and we’ll send it on a next day service. After that time we’ll do our best to get it to you, but the post office won’t make any guarantees. Have a fun day whatever you get up to!
