Topping the summer reading lists in one of our designs. Perhaps this success is more down to the content than the cover, but even so we’re delighted that sales are booming. Junior Officers’ Reading Club is up there, here is the BBC Newsnight review if you’re keen to know more.
‘Recycled’ and ’stylish’ don’t always go hand in hand. But Berlin based Schubladen have hit the nail on the head with their unique furniture. They reuse drawers from defunct furniture and incorporate them into new bodies. What a great idea, rescuing them from the scrap heap and giving them another bite of the cherry, albeit with a little nose job along the way. They may be too much of a mix match for some, but I think they’re fun and über stylish.
Way back in January, Caroline from Country Living asked if we’d like to show our ‘Birds and Trees around Britain’ prints in an eco homeware feature for their July issue. Yes, they really do work that far ahead and what a long wait it has been, but we’re chuffed with the results.
Everything in this Victorian house is green in some way or another, be it recycled, salvaged, British made, sustainably sourced, the list goes on. If you’re that way inclined it is worth a peek.
