Inspector Ghote Series

HRF Keating’s first novel about the resilient Inspector Ghote, The Perfect Murder (1964), won the Gold Dagger of the Crime Writers Association and an Edgar Allen Poe Special Award—and he went on to write many more. We designed this series of book covers to update this forgotten but highly regarded backlist. We’d heard about the tradition of using symbols on Indian ballot papers (because of high levels of illiteracy) and we used icons to create wallpapers specific to each story.
