At Bold & Noble your privacy has always been important to us and we are committed to ensuring that your data is protected and stored securely.

Our Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect any information that may be collected about you when you visit our website or subscribe to our mailing list and it explains how you can manage this information.

Types of information we collect

1) Cookies

When you visit our website a small amount of data is collected and saved by the web browser you are using – these are called Cookies. When someone visits www.boldandnoble.com,  google analytics collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour i.e. country where you’re visiting from, which web pages you found most interesting. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

3) Subscribing to our email list

If you’re on our mailing list it’s because you’ve clicked a button to say you’d like to subscribe to receive news and offers from us. We do not share your email address with anyone else.

When you sign up online, the information goes directly to our subscription list. When we want to send you news and offers, we use a secure service provided by Campaign Monitor to send news on our behalf. 4) Buying a product from us

The order information we collect is stored securely and only used for the purpose of getting you the correct items as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Postal Address and if different, the billing address.

Contact Phone Number (Optional)

We have listed below the processes of partner services like Royal Mail and Paypal that we use to fulfill your order. They all comply with the new data protection regulations, so you can rest assured that your information is private and secure at all times. Shopify and Paypal

Shopify is a world class e-commerce platform and it’s the one we use at www.boldandnoble.com. When you place an order with us Shopify processes your order and links up with our payment processor ‘Paypal Pro’ to securely receive your payment.

Zenstores and Royal Mail

When Shopify has accepted your order and the payment has gone through with Paypal, we’re ready to link up with Royal Mail to dispatch your parcel. We use Zenstores to collate all our orders in one place – phone orders, online orders, Etsy, Not on the High Street etc. Zenstores allows us to manage each order by selecting the correct shipping method i.e. is it tracked or first class, is it UK or overseas. Their software links to our Royal Mail account allowing us to print a label with the postage paid, it also files the tracking information with each customer, so we can provide information on the whereabouts of packages.

Interparcel

If you’ve ordered large quantities from us that can’t be sent with Royal Mail, we use Interparcel.com to book UPS couriers. They are GDPR compliant and their privacy policy can be found here:
